VH-KOY
Lockheed 414-56 Hudson III
(c/n 6041)
This was the former VH-AGS. It was
re-registered VH-KOY in 1993 and dressed up in its
as a
Warbird with its original serial of A16-112. In 2002 it
took place in the filming of the
motion picture
"The Great Raid" and was re-painted as a USN machine in drab olive and
grey.
It is
now back in SEAC insignia and is currently owned by the Temora Aviation
Museum in
New South
Wales The images above and immediately below are from the
Barry Maclean
collection. Above at Avalon, Victoria
in the late 1990s and below at Pt. Cook, Vic, in April
of
2006. The action shot at the foot of this entry is by Geoff
Goodall and was taken earlier at
Wangaratta in March of 1985. It is still to be seen on the
air show circuit as evidenced by
Phil Vabre's shot at the foot of the page showing it at RAAF Air Museum
pageant at Point Cook
in February
2008, complete with new nose art.
