                                   The Packplane was an ugly beast either with, or without, the roadable pack.  One C-119A
                                   was converted to this layout, although the military evinced little interest in it, and the project
                                   was not pursued.  Seen above is the craft aloft withough the pack, and immediately below,
                                   with the original pack. This ugly box was later streamlined somewhat.  Under this are two
                                   rare shots illustrating the attaching procedure and also the pack behind a pickup truck.
