OK-BAD  Savoia-Marchetti S.M.73                         (c/n  30030)

                                  

                                         In 1937 Ceskoslovenske Statni Aerolinie (CSA - Czecho-Slovakian State Airlines) took
                                         delivery of three S.M.73s (OK-BAB, -BAC and -BAD) with 615 hp Walter Pegasus
                                         IIM2 engines.  The above rather poor shot was from a CSA house magazine in 1948.  . 
                                         Just before the outbreak of WW II three more (OK-BAE, -BAF and -BAG) were pur-
                                         chased.  
OK-BAD was impressed into the Lufthansa fleet as D-ABED when Czecho-
                                         slovakia was annexed by Germany in 1939.
