HB-AMO  Koolhoven F.K.50                                    (c/n  5002)

                                 

                                    HB-AMO was the second FK 50 built in 1935 for Alpar, a Swiss domestic airline.  Originally
                                    they had bulging engine nacelles, as seen above, but these were later somewhat paired down
                                    (see HB-AMI).   HB-AMO crashed in very foggy conditions at Mount Kelleköpfli, near
                                    Waldenburg, some 25 kilometers southeast of Basel Airport on 10 September 1937. .
