HA-JUA  Junkers Ju 52/3mg3e                                         (c/n 5523)

HA-JUA was the first Ju 52 delivered new to Malert, in 1936.  Like many European airliners
of the day, it carried its name ( 'Kaszala Karoly') between the wing and the windows in letters
larger than those of the airline itself, above the windows.
I have lost the provenance of this
photo, but it was probably taken circa 1938.    HA-JUA crashed on 17 January 1941 near
Nagyvarad Oradea, Hungary, 16 souls having perished.  By which time, of course,  Hungary
was a member of the Axis powers.
