EI-ACK   Douglas DC-3                           (c/n  19503)

                                 

                                      Here's 'St. Albert' wearing the standard immediate post WW II livery of the Irish national airline.
                                      In 1940 the airline received the last DC-3 (EI-ACA) to be built by Fokker in the Netherlands and
                                      operated this machine all through WW II.   At the end of hostilities Aer Lingus acquired another 10
                                      ex military Dakotas and became a Europe-wide airline.   EI-ACK was the ex C-47A-80-DL
                                      43-15037.    It was later sold to Israeli Aircraft Industries becoming 4X-AOC.  It then went to
                                      Portugal as CS-DGA and has been restored in TAP livery as CS-TDA.  It is on static display at
                                      TAP headquarters at Lisbon Airport
