EC-UAA   Fokker F.V!!b-3m                                   (c/n  5252)

This Fokker (the penultimate F.7b built) was delivered to LAPE in 1933.  Its predecessor airline,
CLASSA, had experience on the type and -UAA, along with -AAU and -AUA were added to
the amalgamated fleet.         It, along with most of the LAPE fleet, was used by the Republicans
during the Spanish Civil War.  In December 1937 .
EC-UAA suffered an undercarriage collapse
in the south of France whilst it was allegedly transporting gold to Paris as arms payment for the
Spanish Civil war, and was written off.
The aircraft veered off runway on landing, came to rest
and was damaged beyond repair.   Both crew were unhurt.
Officially, it was not deleted from
the EC- register until 1940.   Photo via Iberia.
