Ad Astra was a Swiss airline formed in 1919 by Walter
Mittelholzer. The airline, along with
another line, Balair, was merged into Swissair in 1930 when the
Swiss Federal Air Admin-

Mittelholzer was appointed
technical director. CH-190 became HB-LAK in 1934, by which time
it had been absorbed
into the Swissair fleet. It crashed on landing crash at
Promasens, Switzerland in April 1935
and
written off for spares.
