PP-SPC  de Havilland D.H.84 Dragon II                      (c/n  6085)

Viação Aérea São Paulo (VASP) was founded in 1933 to initiate flights to the hinterland of
Brazil from São Paulo.   Two GAL ST.4  Monospars were acquired for this purpose,. They
were augmented the following year with this Dragon, hence the moniker VASP-3 on the nose.
The grainy shot above was gleaned from a magazine.   One reference indicates that this
machine may have been reregistered PP-LAE after its service with VASP.
