OB-R-200 Douglas
DC-3CS1C3G
(c/n 15989/32737)
I have yet to glean a photograph of a Faucett
DC-3 all in one piece. The only other one of this
line that
I have (OB-R-544) is missing the rudder!.
This shot, by Alan Scholefield, was taken
at the
Lima aircraft graveyard in 1972 and the ex C-47B-25-DK is sans engines.
However, it
does serve to
show off the Faucett livery to good effect. Originally
civilianized as OB-PAT-200,
this DC-3 was a RAF Dakota IV (KN368) during WW II.
