AP-AEF Convair 240-7
(c/n 75)
So successful (and
profitable) was Orient Airways that it was able to order three
Convairliners
in 1949.
AP-AEF was the first. These were used on the route between West
and East Pakistan.
When Pakistan International took over in 1955, they absorbed the
original three and added two
more previously owned
Convairs to the fleet.
