CF-BNQ  de Havilland D.H.83C Fox Moth                (c/n  FM.9)

It's tough to pick out the Fox Moth from the background clutter in this Leo J. Kohn collection
image taken in the 1940s.  Some 52 Fox Moths were built by de Havilland's in Canada after
WW II.  This is the ninth one.  Although most were used as bush flyers in the country of their birth,
many found homes in other parts of the world.  Today they are very much sought after.   The
register indicates CF-BNQ was "hit by a runaway Cessna 180 at Ilford, Manitoba on 1 Dec
                                                 1955"
                                                 and written off.
