Beech 400A Beechjet
N8907V
(c/n RK-26)
In December 1985 Beech Aircraft
Corporation acquired the manufacturing design and rights of
the Mitsubishi
Diamond II executive jet. The first 64 machines assembled
by Beech came from
kits
supplied by Mitsubishi and were marketed as the Model 400. The
revised 400A, seen above
at
Camarillo, California in 2000 featured increased payload and operating
ceiling, greater cabin capacity
(including a toilet) and improved soundproofing. Altogether a
very nice little jet, if you have a spare
$5
million or so.
