Cessna
310C
N1767H
(c/n 35867)
The Model 310 was
built in just about every lettered suffix. This particular
example is a 310C
and illustrates my caption comments on
the straight 310 (previous entry) on how difficult it was
to photograph
this aircraft with those massive wing tip tanks. The best angle
is probably the 3/4
head on view like the lower shot of
N6681B at Long Beach in 1961 shows. Later suffix models
the 310 series had swept back tails and
all kinds of improvements, but those later models are not
really in the "Classic" range.
