                                      The Aeronca K was the replacement for the bath-tub like Aeronca C-2/C-3 series, and looked much
                                      more like an airplane!  First flown in 1937.  My example, above, was taken at Decatur, Il, Municipal
                                      Airport in 1956.    It carried the most diminutive registration I have ever seen on an aircraft.   Surely
                                      that could not have been legal?.   See below.
