Beech B24R Sierra
N6992R
(c/n MC-328)
The ultimate conclusion of the
Musketeer line was the Sierra. As each iteration of a popular
aircraft is
evolved, it seems mandatory to add more windows. Compare
this to the Musketeer
and Sundowner. This version,
redesignated the Model 24, had a retractable undercarriage.
The example above was
seen at Franklin County Airport, North Carolina
in March of 2003.
