Metal Aircraft G-2-W Flamingo  United Statesd Airways NC266K            (c/n 17)

United Sates Airways opened a route from Kansas City to Denver on 1 June 1929 using a
modest fleet of these all metal seven-passenger Flamingo aircraft.  Shortly after inauguration
the fledgling line joined up with Pittsburgh Airways and Ohio Air Transport to form the United
Avigation group.    This didn't last long and the three airlines were merged into what became
                                    TWA later in 1930.
