Robinson  Airlines Beech D-18C   N80000                         (c/n   A-59 )

                                          

                                                 This illustration is from a Beech Aircraft house organ of 1947.   Robinson Airlines operated a small
                                                 fleet of the D-18-Cs and -Ds in the late 1940s to upgrade their Fairchild 24s and Cessna T-50s. 
                                                 The D-18-C model was developed specifically for airline feeder line use, although far more of the
                                                 executive D-18-S models were manufactured. .   N80000, delivered by Beech in 1946, was  named
                                                 'Air Chief  Mohawk'   It was sold when the DC-3s were acquired and became XB-KES,  returning to
                                                 the U.S.in 1963 as N8371H.     Two other known Robinson Model 18-Ds flown by the ailrine were
                                                 NC80210 and NC80217.
