                                       I am not completely sure whether this Inter City Air Lines is the same company as that of the
                                       Travel Air of the following entry.  Certainly this example does not have the roundel logo of
                                       the latter.  The source of this image is the San Diego Air & Space Museum archives.
                                       However, since the aircraft is standing in snow, it would appear to be more likely that the
                                       photo was taken at Boston rather than Lindberg Field!    Incidentally, four of this model
                                       Detroiters were exported to China for operation on air mail services.
