Century
Pacific Lines Stinson SM-6000-B NC10840
(c/n 5041)
Century Pacific was a west coast extension of Century Air Lines, formed
in 1931 by E.L. Cord.
Services were provided between San Francisco and San
Diego. Unfortunately the only image
I have been able to glean of
one of their aircraft is the one above from the SFO photographic
collection, taken at the
old Mills Field in 1931 obviously being used in some sort of motion
picture.
. The airline was short-lived was
sold off to AVCO in 1932. If any correspondent can give me
a better image showing
perhaps titling and registration I would appreciate it.
