ZK-AIV  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                  (c/n  82297)

                              

                                   Another Middle Districts Aero Club Tiger taken at Palmerston North in 1949.    This machine
                                   was a Hatfield-built Tiger destined for the RNZAF as NZ741.  MDAC owned it until 1951
                                   when it passed to the Waikato Aero Club. It crashed and was destroyed by fire at Oparau on
                                   28 April 1954.  The remains were sold to W. Bower and Co Ltd to be used for parts.
