VH-UVA  Percival D.3 Gull Six                  (c/n  D.60)

                               

                                   This image is from the A J Jackson Collection at Brooklands Museum.  VH-UVA was owned by
                                   two of Australia's pioneers of aviation during its decade on the register.  It was imported new in
                                   1936 for P.G. Taylor, who later went on to survey the Pacific flying boat routes. He sold it to
                                   G.E. Ryder of Cessnock, NSW in 1937, and by 1939 it was owned by Eddie Connellan, of
                                   outback airline fame. VH-UVA outlived the war (although it was not impressed) and was written
                                   off in a crash at Camooweal, Queensland on 1 May 1946.  The pre-war shot below is from the
