G-AUCA    Bristol Tourer                                              (c/n 6117)

This was actually the first aircraft operated by the Australian Civil Aviation Branch, being
registered in 1921.    On 16 March 1923, whilst on a flight from Melbourne to Longreach
(quite a haul, even today), in company with the Vickers Vulcan G-EBET,  it crashed at
Bourke, NSW.   The final image below was culled from the Melbourne Argus of 22 March
1923    Despite the extensive damage it was eventually rebuilt and re-registered G-AUDX.
