VH-WKC   Cessna 172G Skyhawk                              (c/n  53845)

                                      

                                             Initially registered VH-RPT from June to September 1966, VH-WKC was seen by David
                                             Carter at Nowra during an air show in October 1969.    At the time it was destroyed in an
                                             accident on September 7, 1976 it was based at Charters Towers in Queensland.      It flew
                                             into the surface of Lake Powlathanga killing the pilot and two of his three passengers, with
                                             investigators  suggesting the pilot’s judgment had been affected by alcohol  . He had a blood
                                             alcohol level five times the legal limit for motorists in Australia in 2017
