VH-TSE de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA1059)
This was the former A17-728 civilianized in 1957 as the
second VH-BWH for the Royal Aero
Club of South
Australia. It suffered an accident at Port Pirie in January
1959 and was restored
as VH-TSE for Trojan
Aerial Spraying. The photo above, from the Geoff Goodall
collection shows
it at Blyth, SA
in October 1963, being flown on cropdressing by Trojan Aerial Spraying
Co's owner
John Freeman, using
Micronair rotary atomisers fitted at each wingtip. In Geoff's
second shot, below,
the
Tiger is seen at Parafield in August 1962 with
Edgar Percival E.P.9
VH-TCA of Air Mist (prev-
iously with the
Tasmanian Aero Club) providing the
backdrop . The Tiger's livery was
silver and red.
