VH-SVP Piper PA-28R-180 Cherokee Arrow
(c/n
28R-30741)
The Cherokee Arrow not only had a third cabin
window on each side, but also featured a
retractable
undercarriage, making it virtually a totally different machine than the
earlier model
Cherokees. This one was photographed by Greg Banfield at a rally
at Bankstown in August
1974. The
inscription forward of the rally number says "Control-a-Door".
(Garage door
openers?). A 1968 model, it was first registered in August of
1969 and is still currently flying
out of Sale, Victoria.
