Insurance brokers Stewart Smith Australia adopted the personalised registration VH-SSA when
                                            they took delivery of their Cherokee Arrow in April 1968.      It was certainly available by then,
                                            the original user of the rego, Superspread Pty Ltd,, having long disappeared.        David Carter’s
                                            photo of -SSA(2) above shows it at Bankstown on November 28, 1970 but it was just as often
                                            seen parked in the GA park at Mascot.      By 1976 it had a new owner in Brisbane.  –SSA was
                                            operating from Orange when it crashed at Gulgong, NSW, on November 11, 2007 and was
                                            written off.
