VH-SDB Cessna 180H Skywagon
(c/n 18051640)
This 'H' model 180 was originally operated by the
Mission for the Seventh Day Adventists. It is
seen above
at Wewak in 1969 in this shot by Alan Bovelt. It carried the name 'Malcom Abbott'
on the
nose. First registered in May of 1966, it
was owned by Dave Ford, a Perth
air traffic
controller by
the time Geoff Goodall saw it at Jandakot in April 1975 (below).
Geoff saw it
again at
Noretham, WA in November 1977 (foot of the page) where it was arriving
for an air show,
and
displaying a completely different livery. Today
it is registered to a private owner in Lilydale,
Vic.
