                                         The aircraft was operated at the time by Murchison Air Charter.  First registered in April
                                         1965 as VH-AVX  it became -RTF in September of the following year.  Then, in July 1967
                                         ir was traded toWestavion.and re-registered again, this time as VH-PYS.
