VH-RSB de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger
Moth
(c/n DHA870)
A17-640 in the RAAF, and civilianized for the
Royal Aero Club of NSW in 1956 as VH-RSB,
this was one of the Tiger Moths built in Australia and originally
destined for EFTS service in South
Africa.
(it would have become DX838). Anyway, it is seen here at
Bankstown in September 1956
just after
having joined the club in this rather overly contrasty shot by the late
Peter R. Keating.
(I did the
best I could when printing the neg supplied by Eric Wagner). -RSB
was sold off by the
club
early in 1959 and became VH-BTT.
