Ferried to Australia

Comanches were relatively rare in Australia
and the 400 hp model
was a bit of a handful for inexperienced private pilots and expen-
sive to
operate. In fact, only 148 were built . –PYU spent
long periods off the register
as withdrawn from use, from October 1975 to August 1979 then from
October 1981 to
June 1987. In January 2017 it was owned by a winemaker who kept
it at Corowa, NSW.
