VH-PKO Cessna 172F Skyhawk
(c/n 17253150)
These two views of a Skyhawk
were both taken by Geoff Goodall some taken five years apart.
Both were at Jandakot,
Perth. Originally imported in October 1965 through
Rex Aviation at
Bankstown, it is seen above
in its original Cessna livery in March 1970. It was
owned, at the
time, by Yuin Pastoral Company, of Yuin Station, via Yalgoo,
WA. By 1975 (below) it had
been repainted into 'Skyhawk II'
livery (a designation never officially sanctioned by Cessna) in a
paint job reminiscent of an
earlier 182. Today it is owned by a
pastoralist in the Broken Hill,
NSW area.
