VH-MRP Sud SA318C Aloutte
II
(c/n 2158)
This Aloutte looks positively sinister
in its all black paint job. Looks like it came from a James
Bond movie
. In fact, it had been imported for Queensland Mines and was
registered in Sept
1970.
David Carter’s camera caught it at Bankstown on October
14, 1970. In December
1973, –MRP was exported to Fiji where it became DQ-FCD. It
was on the move again in
June 1975 when it became ZS-HHO in South Africa, where it was
subsequently written off.
