VH-MNG Cessna
210K Centurion
(c/n 21059206)
Originally to have been VH-DGZ, this Centurion was first registered in
March 1970. It was owned
by Griffith Bros.
(Pty) Ltd, based at Bankstown, where this Ray Deerness shot was taken
when the
aircraft was brand new. Shortly after
being registered, it was damaged in an accident on 9 May
1970 at
"Nelyambo" Station near Wilcannia, NSW when the pilot touched down on a
rough strip
to avoid sheep, collapsing the nose
gear. Repaired, it lasted until June 1982 when it was
damaged
beyond
repair. No details of this latter accident.
