VH-KNX de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA922)
This rather
nondescript looking Tiger was a crop sprayer with Airwork, Pty Ltd of
Young, NSW
when this hangar shot was taken by Bob Neate at Narromine, NSW in
December 1963 (from the
Geoff Goodall collection). It was A17-499 with the RAAF and
civilianized for the Royal Newcastle
Aero Club
as VH-RNX before becoming an agricultural aircraft. It is
seen below in a splendid red
and white color scheme after its aggie days were done in March 1969 at
Camden, NSW in this nice
shot by
the Greg Banfield. It is still current and
was at Luskintyre following another
rebuild in Sept
2010 when
Ian Mcdonnell took the shot at the
bottom of
the page.
