VH-KBR (2)
Mooney M.20F Executive
(c/n 700041)
I am not sure if this is, in fact, the second
-KBR. There may have been others between this and
the little Auster Arrow I used to fly
out of Western Junction, Tasmania, back in the early 1950s.
The M.20F was a M.20E
with a 10 inch fuselage stretch allowing for three windows on each side.
Power is supplied by a 200 hp Lycoming
IO-360-AIA. First registered in July 1970, it was ex-
N9470V. It was new when
photographed above by John Wheatley.at Bankstown. The hangar
at
rear right backed onto Marshall's hangar and Marshall's geriatric truck
is visible above the
Mooney VH-KBR today is privately owned and based in the
Gold Coast, Queensland
area.
