VH-GWH (2) Piper PA-32-260
Cherokee Six
(c/n 32-90)
When the first VH-GWH was
re-registered VH-PCA, the rego -GWH was snatched up again by
Piper dealers {Pipeair Pty Ltd
and given to this new Cherokee Six. Pipeair used the GW
block
in recognition of its
founder, Melbourne racing car driver and car dealer G.W. (Bill)
Patterson. This
stretched version of the PA-28 was sufficiently different that Piper
gave it a new designation number.
-GWH was an earl;y production
model and was used as a demonstartor by the dealership until sold
in August 1966 and
re-registered VH-RTC.
