VH-FRC Percival P.34A Proctor II
(c/n K.413)
This was the former VH-BQP and is seen here in this shot
by Bob Dougherty (via the John Hopton
collection) at
Moorabbin in March 1961. As such it was a long way from its
normal Darwin base
where it
was owned by charter pilot Vic Couch who had it re-registered to
reflect his wife's initials.
The couple
enjoyed touring Australia in their green and white Proctor but sadly it
was wrecked on
24 Sept ember
1961 when a wing dug in on landing at Parafield.
