VH-FPC
Cessna 172F Skyhawk
(c/n 17253360)
This was a new aircraft
assembled at Rex Aviation, Bankstown already painted in the factory as
VH-PQN. However it had been on-sold to Flick Pest Control, Perth
and came on to the register
in October 1965 as VH-FPC, leaving its original registration as a NTU.
-FPC was an out of
sequence rego at the
time, and, except for -FPA and B, the main bulk of the -FPs were not
issued
until the late
1970s. Merv Prime's shot above was taken at Jandakot in October
1965. After many
owners, this Skyhawk
is still current and is today owned by the Northern Australian Pastoral
Co. in
Queensland.
