VH-FAJ (2) Piper
PA-32-260 Cherokee
Six
(c/n 32-866)
Overton Pastoral Co
of Corowa, NSW, took delivery of the then new VH-FAJ in May 1968.
It was still with that company in the mid 1970s.
David Carter saw it at Griffith in November
1978
when it was a competitor in the Breville Kingsford-Smith Air Race that
overnighted in the
Riverina town. –FAJ was written off on September
22, 2012 when it struck a fence during
a forced landing near Yea, Victoria. The plane, which had been little
used, had water in the fuel.
