VH-EWG Fokker F-27
Friendship 100
(c/n 10266)
Here's a lovely Greg Banfield shot of a EWA F-27 about to alight at
Parkes, NSW in April 1966.
Two years later (below) it had taken on
a somewhat revised livery when Greg saw it again. (Kemp-
sey, NSW, September
1968.). Danny Tanner's shot (no 3) is a variation of that theme at
Mascot
in July 1977. It priginally joined EWA in January of 1965 and
was named "City of Orange".
Sold to Air Executive in Norway in 1978
it became LN-NPI. It spent time in the 1990s in Sweden
as SE-KZF before
being sold in Ghana in 2002 becoming 9G-AIR where it is, I believe
(2009) still
registered. Finally, for any modellers out there, at the
foot of the page is a nice color shot by Bob
Neate taken at
Mascot in 1964 showing the Fokker in original EWA livery.
