VH-EHX  Cessna 182M Skylane               (c/n  18259945)

                               

                                     Danny Tanner's photo above of this Skylane was taken at Moorabbin in November 1975.  In
                                     the shot below, by Greg Banfield at Hoxton Park, NSW in February 1987, it is seen with, in
                                     addition to the ad for Foster's Lager, the call sign for Radio Station 2UE and the name 'The Old
                                     Pelican'.   Possibly it was used for Shark Patrol duties off Sydney beaches.   On 18 November
                                     1976 VH-EHX was involved in a mid-air collision with Twin Comanche VH-DUM on approach
                                     to Bankstown.  Clearly it was repaired, as today (2016) it  is privately owned in Katherine, NT..
