There must have been a story behind the personalised registration VH-EGG but by the time
                                      David Carter photographed it at Tamworth on April 26, 1976, the Super Skylane was with
                                      Tamair, who had owned it from 1968.  It had been first registered in August 1967. On Oct-
                                      ober 7, 1973, –EGG was damaged at Camden and spent over a year off the register while
                                      it was repaired.    It was to suffer more damage many years later when it landed heavily at
                                      Monduran, Queensland, on September 29, 1995, collapsing the nose wheel leg.    In Sept-
                                      ember 2016 –EGG was active, wearing a 21st century Cessna colour scheme and based at
                                     Archerfield.
