VH-DVS  Cessna 182K Skylane                             (c/n  18258407)

                                   

                                       This Skylane participated in the Papua New Guinea Independence Air Race in 1975.  Greg Banfield's
                                       photo of it above was taken at Essendon, Melbourne in December of that year  .   The aircraft is disp-
                                       laying the flag of the newly-minted country.          It was current into the new millennium but is now no
                                       longer on the register.
