VH-DPZ
Cessna 210G
Centurion
(c/n 21058900)
Ex N5900F, VH-DPZ was registered in August
1967. David Carter photographed it as Archer-
field on May 7, 1976 when the aircraft was visiting from Cunnamulla.
By the end of the 1970s
–DPZ had moved south with C.F. Woods at Tyabb, Victoria. On April
11, 1986, the Cessna was
flying from Flinders Island to Moorabbin when it suffered engine
failure near Wilson’s Promontory
and
ditched. The pilot and passengers waded ashore but –DPZ did not
recover from its immersion
in
sea water.
