VH-DEB  Piper PA-22-160 Tri-Pacer              (c/n  22-6973)

                                   

                                        The above photo is a Ben Dannecker shot taken at Bankstown, date not known.  However,
                                        it was probably taken before the Greg Banfield image below, which shows the aircraft at the
                                        overnight stop at Bankstown on 29 March 1964 when it participated in the Ansett Air Race
                                        and was flown by New Farm, Qld owner K.D. Bassett.      -DEB is still current and has, I
                                        believe spent its entire career registered in Queensland.   In these shots it has the then current
                                        Piper factory paint job.
