                                           This Chipmunk, seen above in this photo by John Hopton at Moorabbin in February 1969   
                                           was first registered in Australia in 1954 at VH-MLO.    It was originally owned in the U.K.
                                           by the College of Aeronautics at Cranfield as G-AMLC.   In 1961 it was re-registered from
                                           VH-MLO to VH-CJM (its new owner's initials).   It became VH-DBS in 1967, and is now
                                           registered to a private owner in Queensland.      Phil Vabre's shot (below) was taken at the
                                           National Fly-in at Narrandera in 2006.
