VH-CVF Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee
Six
(c/n 32-40454)
VH-CVF
was registered to Civil Flying Services at Jandakot in March 1969.
However it is likely
that CFS
was not the operator but acting as a Piper agent. David Carter’s
picture above was taken
at Bankstown in 1970 and shows -CVF in the markings of Preston Air
Charter, a Jandakot based
operator. The 1975 register showed –CVF based in Brisbane.
It continued on the register until
November 1999,
when it was reregistered VH-WFE . A month later it crashed at Keswick
Island,
in the Whitsundays and was written off.
