VH-CTK Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee
C
(c/n 28-26412)
In a break from Beechcraft, Civil Flying Services at
Moorabbin took delivery of this Cherokee
VH-CTK in
January 1970. David Carter saw it at Bathurst on October
4 that year. By the
mid 1970s, it was with B.S. Stillwell Aviation in Melbourne before
being withdrawn from use
in March 1981.
Eleven years is a short flying career for a Cherokee, even
one used for flight
training, and it likely suffered damage that was deemed irreparable.
