VH-CRQ Fletcher FU-24 Mk II
(c/n 122)
Like all Fletchers, this
aircraft was allocated a ZK- registration when built. This one
was formerly
ZK-CRQ which merely changed its nationality coding when it crossed the
Tasman Sea in September
1967. It was registered at the time to Westair Aviation Services
of Coonabrabran, NSW, and it is
in their titling that it was seen above
at Bankstown in April 1968 by Roger McDonald. VH-CRQ
had a short life,
being wrecked in an agricultural accident at Ryleston NSW on 31 July
1970.
